Axway Software is an infrastructure software publisher founded in 2001 in France. Axway, a former software subsidiary of the Sopra Steria Group, became an independent company listed on the Paris stock exchange (Euronext: AXW.PA) following a spin-off on June 14, 2011.

Axway's history naturally combines organic development and external growth, particularly internationally.
Since its creation in 2001, Axway has built one of the most comprehensive portfolios of offerings on the market to meet the technological needs of the world's largest organizations.
Axway's offer has grown steadily since it was created as a result of Sopra Group's long-standing expertise in data exchange, particularly through the best-selling "Règles du jeu" and "CFT" solutions. In its 17 years of existence, the group has made 11 strategic acquisitions, enabling it to establish itself as an independent leader in the Middleware market.
